The Mini Plush Lops are on average a 3 to 4 pounds in weight and are similar to a mini lop in stature although their ears are slightly longer! Unlike a traditional rabbit's coat, the Mini Plush Lop feels like silky velvet - their fur is even less prone to shedding. The extremely soft Plush Lop was created in 1995 in the United States . A cross was made between a mini lop and Miniature Rex whilst gradually introducing holland lop and later, the Netherland dwarf to create the perfect mini plush we see today. The intention was to create a near hypoallergenic bunny with a fantastic temperament that is healthy and resilient.
